Troubleshooting Guide
A guide on how to approach troubleshooting Quest Map Pro issues.
If the issue you are experiencing is not explicitly covered in the Common Issues, then there are a couple of things you can do.
Firstly, it is recommended that you go over the entire integration process from beginning to end. In most cases, a lot of issues come down to a simple mis-click, error or skipped step that can be very quickly rectified by just double checking everything was followed closely. While this can be a little time consuming, it can save a lengthy process of trying to rule out every other thing that might be going on.
Another thing you can do is to make use of the troubleshooter widget. It can quickly diagnose several issues, such as missing target points for NW/SE corners of the map, confliction actors and so on.
Finally, if you have made any alterations to any of the actors, components or other files included with Quest Map Pro, it is recommended to revert them back to their original versions to see if the issues persist. If the issue goes away, then it might be that you need to make additional considerations or allowances when making the changes you previously made. Please feel free to reach out via the methods below if you need assistance with this.
If you have gone through all these steps, and are still experiencing issues, please do not hesitate to reach out for support via email or discord.
