Changes to Setting Up Landmarks video

As of April 11, 2023, with version 1.3 of Quest Map Pro, landmark collision settings have been changed from a boolean to an enumerator to add additional support for capsule shaped collision landmarks. Both box and spherical collision work as outlined in the video and can be used as shown.

Written Tutorial

The written version of this tutorial is broken down into steps for easier readability.

Step 1: Add the Landmark Actor

Step 2: Define the Landmark Bounds

Step 3: Setting up a Navigation Point

Step 4: Configure Fast Travel

Step 5: Set Name, Icon and Color

Once you are familiar with the process of adding and configuring a landmark, you can add all the important and notable locations to your world with ease. For additional control, you can set up the Location manager to define the default state of specific landmarks on startup of your game.
